Pizza Sauce

Homemade pizza sauce is super easy to make.

Pizza Sauce (from Better Homes and Gardens)
1 28 oz can of crushed tomatoes
1.5 tsp red wine vinegar
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp. dried basil
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp dried thyme
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 - 1/2 cup water

place all ingredients in a bowl and stir, use as desired

So easy a 2 year old can make it!

This is enough for 3 or more pizzas.  My homemade pizzas are comparable to a large Little Caesar's Pizza - and by that I mean in size, not taste!  Not that a well timed  "hot & ready" $5 pizza doesn't have it's place.  I'm glad they are there when they are needed.
