I've always been a "nuke it in the microwave" bacon cooker, but recently tried baking bacon in the oven. It turned out very well. Here's how you do it:
Preheat the oven to 400.
Line a baking sheet with foil.
Lay out the bacon so it is just touching.
Bake 15-20 minutes depending on how crispy you like it.
